We start with a short discovery phase - a few focused conversations to understand your goals, constraints, and what success looks like. What's the typical engagement model?
Two main options. Fixed-scope projects get a defined timeline and cost - best for well-understood pieces of work. Dedicated team engagements give you a team working as an extension of yours, with monthly billing - best for longer-running products and platforms.
How do you ensure code quality and ownership?
Every change goes through review. Every product gets automated tests, observability, and documentation. You own the code, the repositories, and all intellectual property from day one. We leave behind systems that your team can maintain and extend without us.
Do you sign NDAs before discussions?
Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before any sensitive details are shared. Just mention it in your first message and we'll send one over.
How long does a typical engagement run?
Scoped projects range from a few weeks to a few months. Product development engagements often run for a year or more - software that matters keeps evolving, and so does our involvement.
What if we already have in-house engineers?
Most of our engagements include working alongside in-house teams. We integrate into your processes, pair with your engineers, and transfer ownership gradually so your team grows stronger through the engagement, not more dependent.
